Conferences

SANEI conducts an annual conference as part of its effort to promote exchange of ideas on collaborative economic research in the region. So far, eight conferences have been held.  

• The Ninth Annual Conference is was held in Islamabad, Pakistan, during 18th August – 20th August, 2008.
• The Eight Annual Conference was held in Kathmandu, Nepal, during 31st August - 1st September, 2007. 
• The Seventh SANEI Conference was held in Islamabad, Pakistan, during December 22 - 23, 2005. 
• The Sixth SANEI Conference was held at ICRIER, New Delhi, during August 26 - 27, 2004.  
• The Fifth Conference was held at Colombo, Sri Lanka, August 15-17, 2003.
• The Fourth Conference was held at Hotel Dhaka Sheraton, Dhaka, Bangladesh, during August 27-29, 2002.
• The Third SANEI Conference was held at ICRIER, New Delhi, during August 28 - 31, 2001.
• The Second Annual Conference of SANEI was hosted by the Institute of Integrated Development Studies (IIDS), Kathmandu, Nepal, during August 28 -29, 2000.
• The First Annual Conference of SANEI was held at ICRIER, New Delhi, during September, 1 - 3, 1999.
